B.R. Native Buys Destin Shopping Mall
Ryan Jumonville, a Baton Rouge native and founder of United Networks of America, has purchased a Destin, Fla., shopping mall. Jumonville, who moved to Destin two years ago, paid $2.8 million for the City Market. The outdoor mall is fully occupied with tenants, including real estate firms, a salon and an upscale kitchen store. Jumonville, who developed a thriving nationwide medical discount network, plans to make improvements to increase business at the shopping center. This may not be his last deal in the city: Jumonville plans to spend up to $20 million investing in Destin real estate.
